1. You need to Download and install the TeamSpeak client available for free download on the teamspeak website.
2. Next task is to start up the program. it has an icon that looks like this: 
3. From the Software menu choose "Connection --> Quick connect"
4.fill in the server address "ts.ssm-fans.info:51107" and nickname of your choise (make sure to put in the port number (51107) it is important!)
if you are registered user in the SSM forums, you might want to use the same nickname, so people can recognise you :-)
And then just hit Connect
username field is for Registered users whom username is differant from the nickname they use.
password is required for user authentication only - no password is requierd in order to connect to the server.
5. thats it - you are now connected! welcome aboard!
one last recommendation.
by default the TS is in VOX (Voice activated trasmition) which if not configured correctly can cause a loop (triggered by incomming trasmission). it is advised to set the TS to PTT (Push To Talk) mode.
this is done by going to the "settings" menu and selecting "Sound input/output settings" which opens up this dialog box:
just select "Push To Talk" and set the button you wish to use. as seen in the screenshot - I use the middle mouse button.

Now that we have this part covered time for some fun :)
there is a software called TeamSpeak Overlay that allows the current speaker on the TS server you are connected to to be overlayed on top of your favorite game.

or just going the Software site and get the latest version.
Please not that the software does NOT officially support Vista or Win7 and require you to ativate "compatability mode" for the install to run. they are working on some new software that will do that, but it is still not publicly available. more info Here
